From DOT compliance to drug testing, consortium management, SAP Return-to-Duty testing, and follow-up plans—we handle it all
Attention, drivers! If you’ve had a DOT physical exam with Dr. Jenny Le or Dr. Dustin Mai in the Houston area, you need to act quickly. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced that they will be removing these two doctors from the National Registry of Medical Examiners due to non-compliance with federal DOT physical examination standards.
Over 15,000 drivers are affected by this, as FMCSA has voided all Medical Examiner’s Certificates (MECs) issued by Dr. Le and Dr. Mai between March 2023 and March 2025. If you received your DOT medical certificate from one of these doctors, it is now invalid.
While this action does not immediately impact your ability to continue operating your commercial motor vehicle (CMV), you must obtain a new medical certificate by May 10, 2025 from a certified medical examiner listed on the National Registry. If you fail to do so, your state’s driver’s licensing agency (SDLA) will begin the process of downgrading your CDL.
At DriveLine Solutions, we understand how important it is for you to stay compliant and keep your CDL in good standing. If you need help scheduling your new physical or need assistance with Return-to-Duty Testing, we’ve got you covered!
